Social Wednesday!
With Boston Preservation Alliance & Common Boston
Wednesday, June 22, 2011

Boston Preservation Alliance teams up with Common Boston to co-host Social Wednesday! – a relaxed and informal gathering of young professionals who share an appreciation for the built environment of Boston. Enjoy a cash bar, tasty bites as you meet, mingle and exchange ideas on historic preservation, architecture, sustainability, real estate and urban planning.  As always, entrance is free!

Our collaboration with Common Boston highlights the shared objectives of our two organizations and by gathering at Harvard Gardens, we hope to bring focus to one of the “common points” of this year’s Common Boston festival: Beacon Hill.

Please share this with friends, colleagues or anyone who would like to be a part of our network, and don’t forget to RSVP! We look forward to seeing you there!

Date: Wednesday, June 22nd
Time: 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Location: Harvard Gardens, 316 Cambridge Street, Boston

Who is the Boston Preservation Alliance?
Founded in 1978, the Boston Preservation Alliance is a non-profit organization that provides leadership, education, and advocacy to protect and improve the quality of Boston's distinct architectural heritage. Through advocacy and education, we bring people and organizations together to influence the future of Boston's historic buildings, landscapes and communities.

Who is Common Boston?
Common Boston is a volunteer committee of the Boston Society of Architects that organizes Boston’s only free, public festival that opens up city to celebrate architecture and design in our neighborhoods. Common Boston Week 2011 will open up the city for its annual event June 15-26th. The week will feature a rich program of more than forty open buildings, neighborhood tours, exhibits, and events concentrated in six “common points” around the city. This year's festival will focus on the theme of "Live and Learn: Our Neighborhoods and Institutions."  Common Boston organizes active programming with the goal of bringing together designers and the public for dialogue that inspires a more sustainable, equitable, and crative urban environment.
